Rated 1 out of 5 by Toilluminate from The plastic ones s**k!! Our first purchase was 12 various sizes of the glass airtight containers & 8 boxes of the bags. They work great, love to hear the hiss of air escaping when they are opened. So I gladly purchased 32 various sizes of the plastic ones for our pantry, never once have they "hissed" when opening. I called and spoke for 45 minutes with someone at Zwilling who walked me thought the proper "drying technique" of the lids - funny how I've never had an issue with the glass ones. Ended with the CS rep sending me 3 little diffusers, it was supposed to fix EVERYTHING. Nope. Mine haven't cracked yet, which is something to look forward to. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY on the plastic....

Rated 2 out of 5 by DHZZ from Great concept, but vacuum seal doesn’t hold The idea and concept of these vacuum sealed containers is great; this is what drew me to this product. I primarily use these for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, baking soda, etc. Anytime I release the vacuum to access the contents inside and vacuum seal the container after use, the seal doesn’t hold. It’s super frustrating because I have to wash the seal each time (flour or sugar gets on the seal and prevents the container from being vacuum sealed). For the price point of this product, it’s disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by lp1234 from Design Flaw Don't buy this. There's a design flaw. It cracks due to the pressure of using the vacuum sealer. We've had three do this, after only using them a short time. If you try this anyway, be warned that the top is really hard to get off, even after releasing the pressure. So even before ours broke, I would have said these were very poorly designed for ease of use.

Some containers retain their vacuum seal over a long period of time, while others loose it in under 24h, leaving me to wonder, "Am I meant to check every food storage container every day & reseal as necessary &, if so, I do really have the time to commit to that lifestyle?"

I like to buy small amounts of fresh spices instead of buying a jar of spices at the store, because I never use a full jar and the spices lose flavor if stored too long. I am saving a lot of money buying just small amounts and storing in these Cubes. And I like how they stack on each other for easy storage.
