Beautiful
Bought 2 sets of this because my forks seem to disappear. Love the style and weight of the pieces. Bought online and per those pics thought the handles were all like the knife (boxy) but they are not. The handles of the forks et al are all flat. So a little disappointed, but not enough to send them back. Overall very pleased aesthetically. I think they will be very nice for years to come.

I have been shopping for a new flatware set for a long time. I have purchased several sets but the list of dos and don'ts in the care was outrageous. I was so happy when I received this set. It is so beautiful and the first set that actually says it is dishwasher safe. Other sets strongly suggest hand washing or taking the flatware out of the dishwasher at the start of the drying cycle and hand drying. I also liked reading reviews that said this was purchased years ago and, when adding another set now, the look, size, weight and quality were the same. That did not hold true for other manufacturers. I hope to have and use this set for many years to come.

Absolutely gorgeous!
Fell in love with this flatware set when I scrolled upon them looking for a new set for our new home. Of coarse they had to be one of the most expensive sets online, but I thankfully found them on a good sale. I ordered 2 sets of 8 so I can keep service for 12 out, and store the other 4 sets to replace lost pieces in the coming years. They did not disappoint! Their detail adds the perfect touch, and the luster is more beautiful in person than I was expecting. I read some reviews that mentioned they would only be used for special occasions, but not for my house! We will treat everyday as a special occasion with this fine set! Why limit ourselves to enjoying them only a few times a year when they can make everyday feel a little more fancy? :) This pretty set will be cutting through beef tenderloin on some days, and slapping mayo on a turkey sandwich on others... they will be used and enjoyed.

Great set but knife handles too thick
We have this silverware set and absolutely love it. I decided to buy another set so that we had service for more than 8, now we have 16. I was disappointed to find that the knives are weighted differently than the original set, although everything else is great. Otherwise very happy with this set.

Most Beautiful Set
This set is absolutely gorgeous, it has a nice hefty weight to it and has held up terrifically both in and out of the dishwasher. My whole family enjoys it and always asks for "one of those new forks or spoons" if they happen to get one of the older pieces. I have also noticed the knives are pretty good at cutting and are better than just being a typical spreader butter knife like my previous set.. I would love to get some extra individual pieces that we use more of like small forks and spoons.
Loving this beautiful classical looking set and the 18/10 continues to shine through.

Stylish flatware with a nice weight
My life has shifted a bit so that I will no longer be using my great aunt's sterling silver flatware for every day (yes, I really did use it every day!). Instead, I will be renting my country cottage occasionally for short-term rentals. This means I needed to purchase some flatware. BUT I wanted it to be something that I love for when I'm in this space. Zwilling J.A. Henckels Vintage 1876 18/10 stainless steel fits the bill for me. It feels substantial, looks nice, works perfectly well, and the knives can really cut! I'm very happy with my purchase and appreciate the sale Macy had (which helped make the purchase happen).

Quality that performs on a daily basis
My first Vintage set was purchased 10 years ago and still looks and performs flawlessly to this day. I wanted to expand what I had to accommodate more place settings and was pleased to find that the exact same set was still available. The weight, finish, and quality has not changed in 10 years and I expect both sets to last several more decades.
