Great Knives, Bad BlockThe knives are perfect. The quality is unparalleled. The knife block, on the other hand, is disappointing. It's really nice looking, but the knives don't fit tightly. it feels like the smaller knives will fall out if the block is touched or moved. The pictures show the range of movement. I think we may end up using the old knife block, unfortunately.

Great set!Pros -
My god don't cut yourself, these things are sharp. After cutting through the fatty end of a grilled strip steak like it wasn't even there. Seriously, they are sharp. Yes, we had a less than average set to begin with and that does affect the impression but these did not let my expectations down.
- Quality - You get what you pay for, simple as that. When I handled the three I used, vegetable utility knife, bread and Santoku, you can just feel how well they are put together. The handle was more comfortable than I thought it would be and nicer looking in hand.
Small cons
-It would have been nice to have some variance in the block color. Sure, we can stain it something else but why not just offer it as an option?

Excellent knife set! These knives come sharp and are super lightweight and balanced. I love the variety in this 11-pc set and I use all of them. The block itself is nice and heavy, and has spaces up front for steak knives which I'll probably fill sometime soon. Apparently these are stamped and hands finished which makes them more lightweight than the fully forged knives. My favorite knife is the large chef knife as it's weighty enough to chop large vegetables but at the same time light enough that it can also be used for smaller, more delicate things. I love this set and look forward to using them every time I cook!

Quality you can seeI bought these knives for my new apartment, and let me say when they first came I was blown away by the look and feel of each blade. You can tell right away they are better than the knives I’ve been using until now. I’m most impressed with the Santorum knife, as I’ve just now been starting to use it and it’s simply just fun to use. The block is the reason I’ve given 4 instead of 5 stars as it has a few Defects that detract from its appearance. Other than that, these are excellent knives and I’m excited to use them.

Fantastic. Quality! After over a month of use I am absolutely loving the quality and ease of use with these knives. The only thing I would change is the space in the knife block. The knives are a bit loose so I just take a little extra time placing them in carefully. Overall love love love this set. Worth the money.

Great HandleThis block set was a Mother's Day Gift from my family, and I am thrilled! It has a great assortment of knives and the knives are awesome. They are made in Germany from high carbon steel and are one piece construction which makes them so durable.
I really don't like a heavy knife, and this knife is just the right weight. The handle is so comfortable and has an amazing grip.

Good quality knivesThese knives are really great. Very sharp and I expect them to stay that way for sometime. Minor gripes here…the block has enough slots, but they’re really not entirely sized right for each knife. Some are oversized making the knifes sort of flop around. One of the knives is just slightly bent, but I get that these are stamped, not forged, knives and that I assume is likely to happen more easily. Lastly, the shears are made in China, not Germany as the rest of the set is. Nonetheless, we’re pleased with the set at the price we got it at which was on sale plus a store percentage off coupon.

Blown Away! These are hands down the best knives I have ever had in my kitchen. In the past, I never bought quality knives and was forced to suffer when cutting anything - something I thought to be normal. I finally purchased these Zwilling Twin Signature 11-pc knives and was so blown away! It turns out that cutting meat does not have to be so cumbersome. These are so slick and sharp while also being aesthetically pleasing on my kitchen counter. I could not be more impressed. Thank you, Zwilling!!
Hi, can you please tell me what is the difference between the gourmet and signature line? Is it only the handle or something else as well?
Asked by: Bkelly25
The Zwilling Gourmet and Zwilling Twin Signature lines are quite similar, but there are a few key differences. Both lines feature a triple-riveted synthetic handle, but the Gourmet line has the classic Zwilling logo inscribed on the middle rivet, distinguishing it from the Signature line which also includes the twin logo on the handle. Additionally, the handles have distinct aesthetic differences.
In terms of construction, both collections are stamped, meaning they are cut from a single sheet of high-quality German stainless steel, making them lightweight and easy to handle. They also feature FRIODUR® ice-hardened blades, ensuring durability and long-lasting sharpness. The cutting performance and edge angles are very similar between the two lines.
Overall, the main difference lies in the aesthetics, as both lines offer high-quality, stamped knives designed for excellent sharpness and durability. Could you please explain what your lifetime warranty covers
Asked by: Sam1
Our warranty covers any material defects due to workmanship. This includes anything unexpected, such as a blade or handle cracking under normal use. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or misuse. If a blade is chipped on a bone, or if a tip breaks off trying to pry open a jar, this is not covered.
