The Fresh & Save vacuum containers are designed to work with the vacuum pump to keep food fresh up to five times longer than non-vacuum storage. They are available in borosilicate glass or BPA-free plastic. Both versions are nestable and freezer, microwave (without vacuum seal), and dishwasher safe. Glass containers are ovenproof (without lid) and double as beautiful serving pieces at the table. Each container style is available in a range of sizes so you can store an entire leftover dinner, a light lunch, or a small to-go snack.
With the Fresh & Save system, you can shop once a week and refrigerate or freeze fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, and fish in our vacuum containers and bags and enjoy the benefits of your own fresh market at home. Prepare your meals days in advance and enjoy them as fresh as the day they were cooked. Cook meat sous vide or marinate meat for the grill in just 30 minutes in the vacuum bags and containers.
Here's how it works: Dock the vacuum pump onto the container or bag valve and at the push of a button it extracts the air in mere seconds. It stops automatically once a sufficient vacuum has been obtained, locking in flavor, aromas, and vitamins.

To properly get the seal back onto the Zwilling Fresh & Save small container lids after washing, start by ensuring both the silicone seal and the lid are thoroughly cleaned and dry. Next, align the silicone seal with the groove on the lid, making sure it fits snugly all the way around without twisting. Gently press the seal into the groove, working your way around the lid. You may need to slightly stretch the seal in certain spots to ensure it sits evenly. After the seal is in place, check for any gaps to make sure it’s properly seated all the way around. Finally, place the lid on the container and press down gently to confirm that the lid fits securely and tightly. We hope this information is helpful!

Can the sealed glass containers be placed in the freezer for storage?

Why are my containers loosing the vacum even after one day

If your Zwilling Fresh & Save containers are losing their vacuum seal within a day, there could be several reasons for this. First, ensure the lid is properly aligned and securely sealed before using the vacuum pump, as even a slight misalignment can cause air to enter and break the seal. Additionally, check if the vacuum pump is working properly—if it's malfunctioning or needs new batteries, it may not create a strong enough vacuum. When you vacuum seal the glass lids, do you leave the little plastic thing in the middle on?
Hi Zwilling makes vacuum sealing easy! Yes, leave the vacuum seal valves on. Our Container lids feature double seal to create a perfect seal. Leave about ½ inch to 1 inch of space at the top of the container to allow the lid to sit properly and to prevent the container contents from coming into contact with the valve.

The Containers are Freezer safe, oven proof (without lid), microwave safe (without vacuum seal), all the containers and lids may be used in the microwave.
