Are DWP compliance interviews random? Are there any consequences to not providing documentation such as passport, driving licence, household bills etc.?
It’s best to consider the consequences of not providing the documents asked for in the first place. Providing the documents does not make you guilty as you are providing all the information, but it does put you at risk.
I had one of these, and it was just a FYI that after 4 years the first compliance officer visit I had was in 2012. The second time it was in 2011. The third time it was in 2010. The fourth time it was in 2009.
Aww thank you Kim I’ve just had so much to deal with in the past 2 years and this is just tipping me over the edge. As I have said i know that I have not done anything wrong but he does come round alot after work we get along really well just unfortunately dont work as a couple and I feel like I’m being made to feel guilty for having a positive relationship with my children’s father?
I got bubbled for allegedly working cash in hand. However I had been declaring my self employed earnings to the housing benefit people so I had no case to answer.
