As you can imagine, this can be a very frustrating and stressful time for parents. If you’re feeling this way, it’s important to ask for help. Ask someone close to you to help watch your baby; don’t leave your baby unattended for long periods of time.
Common reasons babies cry: 1. Being scared. 2. Trying new things. 3. Being put through the ringer. 4. Being put on hold. (This last one is especially true for babies with colic.) 5. Just being totally miserable. Sometimes, the best thing that can happen to a baby with colic is just a couple of minutes of rest.

Be patient with trying new things. The more time you spend trying different foods, the less likely your baby is to like them. And the more likely you are to like them, the less likely you are to try something else.
In the interest of full disclosure, I am the mother to a baby with colic. As my daughter got older, I found that changing her formula to one that didn’t contain cow and gate comfort milk made a difference.
