When I startup my computer the screen is black? Everything is black except for the Start menu and the desktop. I tried F8 booting, CTRL-ALT-DEL, Reseat the battery.
When I turn on my computer the screen is black but the BeagleBone black screen shows me that it is starting to show signs of life. At this point I am running out of options as my BeagleBone shows me 2 starting processes: 1 is the background one which is started automatically when the computer is powered on and the other is a process which is started when the user logs in.

When I startup my computer the screen is black? If yes, please press on it to make it move. If no, please don’t move the screen. The black screen of death stares at you with no hope of escape.
I got nothing on the screen, not even a cursor.
The laptop still runs despite the power cut, so I’m guessing it’s broken. But still, it won’t turn off. So, is it because of the power cut or is it because I connected it to a AC adapter that failed?

When I startup my computer the screen is black? It used to happen everytime but now only once a while. It’s weird it’s the second boot process that gets the black screen. It’s hard to think that my desktop has been damaged in this way. I tried to boot in safe mode but still got the black screen. I think it’s some kind of hardware issue.
